Description

This is a late 18th-century stable block and attached outbuilding located at Eastcote, part of Eastcote House. The stable block is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and features a central plank door, with a wood lintel extending to cover two-light casement windows on either side. Above the door is a plank hay-loft door, set within a pegged wood surround and a wood lintel. The building has chamfered stone eaves. To the right of the stable block is a single-storey outbuilding, likely originally used for additional stabling. This outbuilding is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a slate roof, although the wall facing the yard is partially of red brick. The outbuilding is included in the listing for group value.
