Description
Stable House Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It is built of coursed squared limestone with a plain tile roof and stone end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan, is two storeys tall with an attic, and features a three-window range on the main front. This front includes a central one-light casement window, a similar two-light window above, and three-light casements on both the left and right sides at the ground and first floors, all with timber lintels. There are also two hipped dormers. To the left, there is a two-storey, one-window stone extension, and to the right, a two-storey brick extension. The entrance is located at the rear in a two-storey wing to the rear left. Inside, the farmhouse has chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
