Description

No. 6 Bugbrooke Road is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and features a 20th-century ridged tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, presenting a four-window range. There are 20th-century doors to the left and right of the centre, each with wooden lintels and 20th-century porches. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements, with two and three lights on both the ground and first floors, also featuring wooden lintels. The building has quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Inside, the house includes chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
