Description
Warwick House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in 1892 and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range.
The entrance is a four-panel door located to the right of centre, which is topped by a stop-chamfered wood lintel and a straight hood supported by brackets. The ground and first floors have six-pane late 19th-century horned sash windows. The house also has a rendered plinth, quoins, stone-coped gables with kneelers, and two roof dormers.
To the right, there is a two-storey L-plan extension that includes a four-panel back door with a stop-chamfered wood lintel and a 20th-century porch. This extension features a three-light casement window to the right and similar sash windows. A datestone in the gable is inscribed with the year 1892. Inside, the property has chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with an ogee-stop-chamfered bressumer.
