Description

No. 6 Watling Street East is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed squared ironstone, featuring a 20th-century plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door set within a moulded wood surround. Flanking the entrance are 20th-century three-light casement windows on the ground and first floors, with a similar two-light casement window in the centre of the first floor. All windows are fitted with concrete lintels, and there are two dormers in the roof. This house is included for its group value.
