Description

The White Hart Inn is a 17th century building located on the east side of High Street in Great Houghton. It has been altered over time and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ironstone quoins. The inn features a thatched roof with flanking chimneys and stone copings on the kneelers at the gables. The layout is in an L shape, comprising a front block that is one storey with an attic, along with a one-storey back wing and an extension on the right side of the front block. There are two double light wood casement windows.
