Description
The Old Cherry Tree Inn is a building dating from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble with brick courses beneath the eaves, all of which is whitewashed. The roof is made of corrugated iron. The inn is one storey high with attics and features three triple light casement windows from the early 19th century on the north front. The entrance door is located to the left of the centre. An extension on the right side includes a door and a two-light casement window, along with one upper casement window. A large stone quoin on the left side bears part of an inscription that reads: "THUS TYL THEN ANNO DNI 1576 GROBYNS A R."
