Description
Crieff House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, partially banded with ironstone, and features a 20th-century plait tile roof with brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel part-glazed door with an overlight, panelled reveals, a moulded wood surround, and a straight hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a canted bay window, while to the right is a tripartite window. The first floor has windows that are all 20th-century and have wooden lintels. The gable end facing the street has a pair of blocked cellar windows, a chamfered plinth, and an attic window with a stone surround from a former stone mullion window. The rear wall is pebble-dashed. The interior has not been inspected. The house is included for its group value.
