Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on the north side of Church Street in Broughton. The house is constructed of coursed lias rubble and has a thatched roof. It has a two-unit plan, consisting of a single storey with an attic, and a two-window front with casement windows, each with a wooden lintel. Some early 19th-century leaded glass windows are also present. A 20th-century door replaces the original. A central brick stack serves the chimney. Inside, an open fireplace retains a relieving arch over a bressumer.
