Description
Tudor Cottages is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone with a tiled roof and features brick and stone stacks, forming an L-shape. The building has two storeys and consists of three bays. The entrance, located in the third bay from the right, has a four-centred stone arch and a ridged plank door. There is a wood lintel above a blocked doorway in the left bay. The second bay from the left contains a three-light window with a moulded stone frame and stone mullions. To the right of the entrance, there is another three-light window with a moulded stone frame, wood mullions, and an old iron casement. The right bay features two closely spaced two-light stone mullioned windows. A string course runs at the first floor level, where there are three-light stone mullioned windows with stone hoods. Additionally, a re-set medieval head corbel is positioned between the central and right-hand windows. The interior has not been inspected.
