Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house and cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is built from coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof with flanking stone stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, comprising four bays. The doorway, located to the right of the centre, has a wooden lintel, a two-panel door, and a 20th-century gabled timber porch, which is flanked by 19th-century canted bay windows. On the first floor, there are two-light windows with wooden lintels, wooden mullions, and transoms, all fitted with leaded panes. The gable ends are coped and include kneelers.

To the right of the farmhouse is a cottage, likely a former granary, which was originally detached but is now connected to the house by a 20th-century brick extension. This cottage also dates from the 17th to 18th century and is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and four bays. The doorway in the second bay from the right features a wooden lintel and a plank door. To the right of this doorway is a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel, and there are two similar windows to the left. Stone steps on the right side lead to a doorway on the first floor. The interior of both the farmhouse and the cottage has not been inspected.
