Description
The Gate Lodge at the north entrance to Eydon Hall is an early 19th-century building that was extended by one bay to the right around 1980 by Forsyth Lawson. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and coursed rubble, topped with a tiled roof and featuring stone stacks. The lodge is single-storey and has three bays. The central doorway has a stone surround and a six-panel door, with gabled bays on either side that contain three-light stone mullioned windows. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers and ball finials. There is a low gabled bell tower at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
