Description

Stonelea Cottage is a house dated 1709, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a two-window range. There are two-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, each with wooden lintels. A datestone in the center of the first floor is inscribed with "EA/1709." To the right of the datestone is a British Fire Office insurance plaque. The gables are stone-coped and have kneelers. The entrance is located at the rear, and there are single-storey extensions on both the left and right sides. The interior has not been inspected.
