Description

This headstone, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 1 meter north of the north aisle of the Church of St. James in Sulgrave. It is made of ironstone and features an inscription plaque set in a moulded frame, which is topped with scrolls and an oval medallion. The inscription is fragmentary, mentioning "Ma..... wife of A...., died 1677".
