Description
This listing describes a row of four headstones located approximately 7 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. These headstones date from the 17th century to the early 18th century. The northernmost headstone is made of limestone and features volutes at the top framing a small hourglass. The next headstone, also of limestone and from the 17th century, has a rounded top and bears the initials A/RT. The third headstone is limestone as well, with volutes at the top framing a cherub's head. The southernmost headstone is made of red sandstone, is small with a triangular top, and is dated 1670, featuring the initials EW on either side of an incised heart.
