Description
This is a doorway from the early 19th century located between the garden of Easton Neston House and the churchyard. It is constructed of red brick faced with limestone. The doorway features a roll-moulded stone design with a round-arched head, and it has double-leaf doors made of studded planks. Above the doors, there is an overflowing urn supported by a male figure in a tunic on the left and a mourning female figure draped on the right. The structure is topped with stepped stone coping. The park and gardens are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade II.
