Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, now a house, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a 20th-century plain-tile roof, with brick ridge and end stacks set on stone bases. The building has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high with an attic, presenting a four-window range.
To the left of the centre, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door with a stone lintel and keyblock. A three-light chamfered stone mullion window with a hood mould is located to the left of the door, while a similar four-light window is to the right. Above the door, there is a rectangular window with a double-chamfered stone surround, flanked by three-light chamfered stone mullion windows. A similar window is found on the first floor at the far right. To the far right, there is a part-blocked door with a two-light casement window and a stone lintel. The left side of the building features quoins and a low two-storey, one-window extension with a slate roof.
