Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was originally a manor house, dating from the 17th century with earlier origins and remodelled in the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and features old tile roofs with brick end and lateral stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a four-window range that is widely spaced.
To the right of the centre, there is a six-panel part-glazed door with a straight hood above it. To the right of this door, there is a wood mullion and transom window with a stone sill and lintel that includes a keyblock. On the left side, there is a one-storey hipped projection that contains one mullion and transom window on the front, with another window located at the far left. The first floor also has a similar window. The left gable is stone coped while the right has a hipped roof. There are three hipped roof dormers on the upper level.
At the back of the farmhouse, there are three and four-light stone mullion windows, a lateral stack supported on corbels, and a 17th-century canted stone oriel window on polygonal corbels. Inside, the sitting room features a moulded cross-beam roof and stop-chamfered spine beams.
