Description
The farm buildings enclosing three sides of the yard to the rear of Foscote House were built around 1840. They are constructed of coursed squared ironstone and feature hipped slate roofs, forming a U-plan layout. The principal range faces the farmhouse across the yard and includes a four-bay barn with central opposing double-leaf doors. To the right of the barn is a former granary, which has a four-bay waggon standing area open on posts to the field at the rear. To the left is a former stable and hayloft, with all three buildings covered by a single roof. The lower return wings now serve as cattle sheds, with the left wing previously used for stabling working horses. The main range is supported by tie and collar beams and is part of a model farm complex.
