Description
Annies Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century stacks and a bay window, as well as a raised gable end. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, with some cob and brick, and features a shingle roof along with brick end and ridge stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a one-window range.
On the left side, there is a plank door set in a pegged wood surround with a timber lintel. To the far left, a small bay window sits on a brick base and has nine panes at the front and three on the sides, topped with a slate roof. Above this, there is a small two-light casement window in an eyebrow dormer, and to the right, a two-light casement window with a stop-chamfered lintel. The gables to the right are capped with brick.
Inside, the cottage features chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace.
