Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 18th century, which was remodeled in the mid 19th century. It features regular coursed limestone and lias with a plain-tile roof from the 19th century. The building has a T-shape plan and is two storeys high with an attic. The main front has a four-window range of 19th-century two and three-light stone-mullioned windows. There are canted and shallow square stone bays on the ground floor to the left and right, which have stone-mullioned and transomed windows. The central 19th-century door is framed by a moulded stone surround. A gabled cross wing to the right projects forward and includes a pair of single-light attic windows. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and kneelers, with brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends. There are also 19th-century single-storey extensions to the cross wing. The interior was remodeled in the mid 19th century.
