Description
Keepers Lodge is a house dating from 1731, marked by the datestone PJA/1731. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a four-window range of unhorned sash windows that include glazing bars and are set under gauged stone heads. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of the centre, also beneath a gauged stone head. The house showcases ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with ashlar stacks that have moulded cornices at the ridge and ends. The datestone is positioned between the windows to the left of centre. Additionally, there is a 20th-century, one-unit, two-storey extension made of reconstituted stone attached to the left side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
