Description
Sterling House is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a double-depth plan. The building stands three storeys tall and has a four-window range. To the left of the centre, there is a six-panelled door set beneath a shallow brick arch. The windows to the left and the first-floor window on the right are designed in a Venetian style with tripartite sashes, three of which have intersecting glazing bars. The remaining windows are sashes with glazing bars, each set under stone lintels. A large bay window, dating from the late 19th century, is located to the left of the entrance.
Inside, the building features an early 19th-century staircase with a stick balustrade.
