Description
This is a late 18th-century manse, now a house, located on West Street in Wellingborough. The building is constructed of brick with an ironstone plinth and a slate roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, it now has three storeys and a three-window front, featuring a blank window on the first floor. A 20th-century door is centrally placed, framed by a flat arch with a keystone. Replacement windows, also with flat arch heads and keystones, fill the original window openings. Brick gable parapets top the structure, with ashlar kneelers and brick stacks at either end. A late 20th-century extension is present on the left side. The interior remains uninspected. The building is listed for its group value.
