Description
The Rose and Crown Public House, located at No. 11 in Market Place, is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century. It features an early 19th-century ashlar front and has a fairly steep stone slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and has three 3-light windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two modern bow windows set on stone bases, with modern glazing bars. These windows are connected by a wooden hood that curves over the central door, which is adorned with a radiating Gothic fanlight. Additionally, there is a wrought iron sign bracket. The Rose and Crown is part of a group of listed buildings in Market Place.
