Description
Hatton Lodge is a house dating from the late 17th century, which was restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The house originally had a three-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 20th-century casements with glazing bars, set beneath renewed wooden lintels. Above, there are three eyebrow dormers in the attic. To the left, there is a 20th-century door also under a renewed wooden lintel. An ashlar stack with a moulded cornice is located at the right end, with a similar 20th-century stack to the left. There is evidence of two phases of construction. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have ceiling beams.
