Description
The Woolpack Public House is a public house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features roofs made of Welsh slate and Collyweston slate. The building originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. It has a two-window range with 20th-century casements in the original openings, and the first-floor windows have moulded stone surrounds with drip moulds. There is an ashlar stack with a moulded cornice on the left and a brick stack on the right. An 18th-century outbuilding with a Collyweston slate roof is attached to the right and now forms part of the public house, featuring a 20th-century door under a wood lintel to the left. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have remains of an open fireplace.
