Description

This is a pair of late 17th and late 18th century houses, now combined into a single dwelling. The building is constructed of regular coursed ironstone and limestone, with a slate roof. Originally, it comprised one and two-unit plans. The facade presents a three-window range of 19th-century casement windows; those on the left have wooden lintels, and one on the right is topped with a gauged stone head. A single three-light stone mullion window is located on the first floor to the right. Two four-panel doors are situated between the windows, each set within a flat stone arch. Brick stacks are visible at the ridge. The interior remains uninspected. The building is included on the list primarily for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
