Description

Hall Cottage is a cottage, probably from the early 18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble on an ironstone plinth, topped with a pantiled roof featuring coped gables and brick end stacks. The cottage is 1.5 storeys high. On the ground floor, there is a 4-panel door set in a flimsy timber porch, flanked by two 20th-century windows on the left and one on the right, all with timber lintels. The roof includes two gabled dormers. The right gable end has a blocked doorway with ironstone jambs and a lintel that features a flush keystone. To the left, there is a lean-to addition with one 20th-century window. Inside, the cottage has a central staircase and board doors.
