Description
Rosemary Cottage is a house located on Nassington Station Road, dating from the early 17th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a pantile roof. The building originally had a one-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front facade has a single window range, which includes a leaded casement window under the eaves on the first floor and an 8-paned unhorned sash window with a wooden lintel on the ground floor to the left. There is also a small single-light window with cast iron glazing bars and diamond panes, set under a shallow brick arch. The central entrance has a 20th-century door beneath a wooden lintel. A large stone chimney stack is located at one end of the house. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have remains of an open fireplace.
