Description
39 Station Road is a mid-18th century house located on the west side of Station Road. The building is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features Collyweston slate roofs. Originally designed in an L-shape, it stands two storeys high with an attic. The façade has a two-window range of 20th-century casements, which are set beneath original wooden lintels. The central entrance features a part-glazed door, also under a wooden lintel. To the right, there is a hipped roof dormer with a horizontal sliding sash window. The left gable has an ashlar parapet, while the right side has a hipped roof. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the house. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have an open fireplace in the room to the right of the entrance, which is now blocked.
