Description
The barns located approximately 40 meters east of The Old Rectory are an early 18th-century structure. They are built from regularly coursed limestone and topped with a corrugated sheet roof. Originally designed as a six-bay barn, it has since been subdivided. The elevation facing the road features a slight change of angle at the midpoint, along with five slit windows and two small door openings, one of which has a wooden lintel. The gable parapets and kneelers are made of ashlar stone, and the beam ends are exposed at the eaves.
To the right, there is a 19th-century barn attached. The left gable includes a central pitch hole and three slit windows above it, while the right gable features a 19th-century hayloft door and one slit window. The rear of the barn has a cart entrance with 20th-century doors, a 20th-century garage door, and a 19th-century hayloft door. The interior has not been inspected, but it is possible that original trusses remain.
