Description

This is a mid-18th century house, now divided into two dwellings, located on Sudborough Road in Lowick. The building is constructed of regular coursed limestone and has a thatched roof. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, it now features a four-window front. The windows are casements, with glazing bars in those on the ground floor, all set beneath wooden lintels. There are three doors positioned between the windows; the leftmost door is a six-panelled door, while the others are 19th-century plank doors, also under wooden lintels. Brick stacks are located on the ridge and at the end of the building. A 19th-century extension exists at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The building was likely converted in the 19th century into three dwellings by the Drayton estate.
