Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1663. The building is constructed from regularly coursed limestone and has a Collyweston slate roof. It features a double depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic.

The main front has a two-window range on the ground floor and one window on the first floor. On the right side, there is a canted bay window with stone mullions and leaded lights on both the ground and first floors. To the left on the ground floor, there is a leaded casement window under a wooden lintel. The central entrance is a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel and a fanlight above it. The gable parapet and the stack at the end are made of ashlar stone.

On the left elevation, there is a two-window range featuring two- and three-light stone mullion windows with leaded lights, along with a similar two-light window in the gable. The datestone is located at the apex of the gable. The right elevation has a one-window range of casements under wooden lintels.

The rear elevation has two gables, each with a lean-to attached. There are central leaded casements under wooden lintels and attic casements in each gable, also under wooden lintels. A tablet in the apex of the right gable has the inscription H/FE. The interior has not been inspected.
