Description

This is a house dating to the late 17th and 18th centuries, originally with a 3-unit plan. The exterior is built of squared and regular coursed limestone, with original plain-tile and thatch roofing. The main house has two storeys and a 4-window front with 3-light leaded cross windows, each set under gauged stone arches with keyblocks. A 6-panelled door with glazed top lights is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a flat wooden hood. A moulded cornice runs along the top, and the gables have ashlar parapets and kneelers. Brick and stone stacks are visible at the ridge and end of the building.

A single-window range of leaded casements connects to a 2-storey thatch barn and outbuildings to the right. Additional windows are present on the first floor, both to the far left and far right. There are three 19th and 20th-century doors, two with wooden lintels, and a central 20th-century garage door. The rear elevation, facing the road, features 19th-century lean-to additions, leaded casements, and two 5-light stone mullioned windows.

The interior was noted to contain some ceiling beams and panelling in the hall.
