Description
No. 18 Bell End is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and brick, which is now painted, and features a concrete tile roof. The original design is a two-unit plan. The front has a two-window range of horizontal sliding sashes with leaded lights, all set under wooden lintels. To the left, there is a 19th-century two-storey, one-window range brick extension that matches the main house, also featuring horizontal sliding sashes and a 19th-century door beneath a wooden lintel. The building has brick stacks at the ridge and end. The interior has not been inspected. This house is included for its group value.
