Description
White Hill Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with mid-19th-century rear wings. A datestone in the northwest gable is inscribed 'L H 1801'. The building is constructed of coursed ironstone and brick, featuring thatched and slate roofs. It has brick coped gables with kneelers and two gable and two ridge brick stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor openings are topped with wooden lintels. The west front features a central 19th-century half-glazed door with a lattice porch, flanked by three-light casements. To the right, there is a triple casement, and to the left, a double casement. On the upper floor, there is a central three-light casement flanked by single two-light casements, with additional single three-light casements beyond. Between the leftmost windows, there is a coped stone sundial. The two rear wings mainly have 20th-century windows.
