Description
Old Lodge Farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century with 19th-century alterations, is a farmhouse now used as a house. It is constructed of squared ironstone with limestone dressings, and has a shingled roof. The roof has coped gables and single gable and two ridge brick stacks. The two-storey, four-bay front has a central gabled porch added in the 19th century, flanked by single three-light casement windows and further single two-light casement windows. Above, there are four two-light casements. All windows have wooden lintels. Brick stables, built in the mid-19th century, are located adjacent to the farmhouse and are not considered to be of special architectural interest.
