Description
A group of kerbstones located in the Inner Court of Kirby Hall, dating from the late 17th century and restored in the 20th century, likely for Sir Christopher Hatton IV. These kerbstones are made of limestone ashlar and serve as edging for pathways in the Inner Court. The site is owned by the Winchelsea estate and is under the guardianship of Historic England. Kirby Hall itself is recognized as an ancient monument and is included for its group value. Additionally, Kirby Hall Garden is listed in the Historic England County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
