Description

The boundary wall to the north of Boughton Park, which fronts the road, is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the early 18th century and has been repaired. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and brick. The stone section of the wall features tall rounded coping, while the brick section is buttressed. There are a pair of rusticated gatepiers along the line of a former avenue, which have cornices and ogee caps, and these are connected by a plain wooden fence and gate. Additionally, there are plain square gatepiers and a wooden gate leading to the north drive. Southeast of this area, there is an indentation in the wall, which is believed to be a deer leap.
