Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 100 meters southwest of Drayton House, built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a Collyweston slate roof with a square plan. The dovecote has a central plank door set beneath a stone lintel. The upper stage includes oval windows that have plain ashlar surrounds and keyblocks. A moulded stone cornice adds detail to the structure, which is topped with a pyramid roof. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to contain nesting boxes.
