Description
The building comprises two late 17th-century cottages located at 35 and 41 North Street. Constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof, the cottages are two storeys high with attics, and feature two small dormers. They originally had two windows of three lights on the first floor, though these have been replaced with modern casements. Number 35 retains one hung sash window with glazing bars, while number 41 has a three-light window with glazing bars on the ground floor. A central passageway runs between the two cottages. The listed buildings on the west side of North Street form a group.
