Description

This is a pair of 17th-century buildings on North Street. They are constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. Number 43 has a two-storey canted bay at its south end, along with two hipped dormers in the attic. The central doorway has an elliptical arch, and the rebuilt window above it has four lights, set beneath an old beam lintel. There is one window on the first floor with a modern lintel. Number 45 also has two hipped dormers. It features two windows on the first floor, with wooden lintels and hung sashes containing glazing bars; one ground-floor window has a stone lintel and there is a carriage entrance. The buildings are part of a group of listed buildings along the west side of North Street.
