Description
Nos 27 and 33 on North Street are likely 17th century cottages that stand two stories tall, constructed from small coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. Number 27 features a 5-light leaded casement window on the first floor and a 5-light window with modern glazing on the ground floor, with a narrow wood lintel that extends over a plain door. There is a passage doorway to the left. Number 33 has two hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, while the ground floor includes a large bow window from the early 19th century with glazing bars, along with a doorway in the center. These cottages are part of a group of listed buildings on the west side of North Street.
