Description

This is a pair of 17th-century buildings on North Street, constructed of coursed stone with a steep roof of stone slates. The buildings have two storeys and attics, with three dormers – one flat, one sloped, and one hipped, breaking the eaves. Number 34 has three windows on each floor, each with stone voussoirs. Number 32 has a single window on each floor; these windows are hung sashes with glazing bars and have wood lintels, varying in size. Number 32 also has a door with a wood lintel. The doorway of Number 34 is set within a stone surround featuring carved pilasters and a broken pediment, topped by a moulded cornice. A scraper is visible. There is a passage door to the left of the main entrance. The buildings form a group with other listed buildings on the east side of North Street.
