Description

No. 2 Market Hill is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of squared ironstone with limestone dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building features a plinth, wood modillioned eaves, and quoins. It stands two storeys high and has two bays. The south front includes a Doric portico on the left, which has an entablature and a six-panel margin stile door with flanking lights and an overlight. On the right side, there is a plain sash window. Above these, there are two large 8/8 sash windows.
