Description

No. 3 West Terrace is a house built around 1830. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone, featuring quoins and ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, all framed in a painted architrave with a cornice. On either side of the door are corniced canted bay windows with projecting stone sills. The first-floor windows, also in painted architraves, have been renewed with glazing that includes four-pane fixed lights in front of the canted bays and top-hung casements on the sides, designed to resemble late 19th-century sash windows. The exterior features strap pointing and banded end stone chimneys. This property is included for its group value.
