Description
The granary, located approximately 15 meters east of the Manor House in Warmington, is likely from the mid-18th century. It is built of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The structure has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall, with a three-window range of casement openings on the first floor, all under wooden lintels. The gable ends have ashlar parapets, and one gable end includes a stable door, also under a wooden lintel, flanked by additional casement openings. The interior has not been inspected, but it is believed that the ground floor was used as a stable during the 19th century, and the roof structure was likely renewed in the 19th century as well. The granary is depicted on a map from 1775.
