Description

The cross, located approximately 25 metres east of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, is likely from the 15th century and was restored in 1897. It is made of limestone and granite ashlar. The original square socket and shaft are set on a 19th-century plinth consisting of two steps. The shaft features a 19th-century Iona cross, which has the dates 1837 and 1897 on each face. An inscription on the plinth reads, "Restored in commemoration of the 60th year of the reign of Queen Victoria."
