Description

No 20 on West Street is a simple rubble building, likely dating from the late 17th century. It is similar in style to No 18 and is connected to it by a high-roofed carriageway. The building has two storeys and features one window on each floor. The first-floor window is a hung sash with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a restored canted three-light bay, although it now has modern windows. To the right, there is a modern door with a wooden lintel. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 36 (even), 42 to 46A (even), and 52 to 98 (even).
